BBC1’s Waterloo Road casting new role for young deaf male
Michelle Smith Casting Ltd are looking for a boy aged between 13-19 years old to play the role of Luca, a profoundly Deaf boy who uses BSL. They are looking for confident young Deaf boys who might be interested in acting or who would love the opportunity to audition for such a role. You do not need to have any acting experience, just a willingness to learn.
They will have qualified BSL interpreters from the start to help, from the audition process all the way through to being on set. Should you be successful, you would need to be available to start filming in Manchester from October 30th 2023 – June 2024.
