Lollipop is celebrating it’s 20th year in 2024, and to mark this special occasion we threw a party in the beautiful gardens at The Homestead, York!
This was an event for the whole family, with catered picnic food, birthday cake, lots of entertainment and special guests!
Entertainment was provided by Professor Dan (Dan Slater, an original member of Lollipop!) who performed a magic show, Circus Stu who taught party guests some circus skills, Rainbow Elf Entertainments painted faces, and Dress and and Dream visited us as Elsa and Anna from Frozen, Rapunzel from Tangled and Spiderman! There was also undercover soft play and a fairy trail for the smallest children, a giant garden games area for the older members and more! There were opportunities to meet Lollipop friends old and new, sing and sign, speeches and cake!
A huge thank you to all the entertainers, you were brilliant! And to all the local suppliers who made the event memorable! And thank you to our wonderful members and their families for making it an afternoon to remember, we hope you all enjoyed it and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
