Nathan Armstrong

Nathan is the Vice Chair of Lollipop, and took on this role after a number of years as a Parent Trustee. He is the father of Ethan who is 14 and severely deaf. Nathan’s family have been attending Lollipop sessions since Ethan was 4 months old so they have been members for 13 years! Ethan attends as many lollipop events as he can and you will have seen Nathan at many of those.

Nathan has seen many changes at Lollipop and will continue to work with the board to ensure the charity moves forward. He is also a scout leader for 1st Osgodby scouts and has been since 2012. Nathan has worked previously with City of York Council deaf team as a Teaching Assistant, primarily working in primary school settings. The work involved language and speech sessions and working on children’s confidence.
