Vice-Chair

Nathan Armstrong

Nathan is the Vice Chair of Lollipop, and took on this role after a number of years as a Parent Trustee. He is the father of teenager Ethan who is severely deaf. Nathan’s family have been attending Lollipop sessions since Ethan was 4 months old so have been members for over 16 years!

Nathan has worked previously with the City of York Council Deaf Team as a Teaching Assistant, primarily working in primary school settings. The work involved language and speech sessions and working on children’s confidence. He is also a scout leader for 1st Osgodby scouts and has been since 2012. Nathan has seen many changes at Lollipop and continues to work with the board to ensure the charity moves forward.
