The excellent Sublime Science hosted a science party for members aged 5 – 11!

Sublime Science was our last activity before the lockdowns began in March 2020 and it was such a popular activity that we asked them back. This activity was held in the cafe area of Door 84 on Lowther Street. We had a GREAT time and members took part in lots of different experiments, made sherbet, blew, made their own slime and learnt about all kinds of scientific ideas like centripetal force, air pressure, the components of rocket fuel, the super absorption power of polymers and how to make spider webs out of a polystyrene cup (dissolve with acetone!)

A massive thank you to Joshua from Sublime Science who made it such a fun and educational afternoon!
