A huge thank-you to York-based theatre company, Pilot Theatre, for involving our youth members in an interactive and informative workshop exploring the creative arts.
After a delicious McDonalds lunch, our members had fun and games ‘warming up’ like real actors do before a performance. They were then invited to give feedback on what it’s like to live in York, what creative opportunities there are here, what opportunities they’d like to see in the future, and how these can be made fully accessible to deaf children and young people.
It was great to see everyone and hear your opinions – they really do matter and make a difference. Big thanks to Oliver for leading the session!
