The fabulous music sessions with I Can Play! and Music and the Deaf returned on Sunday 21st November at the National Centre for Early Music!
This event was included in the programme for York Disability Week and was open to Lollipop members and non-members alike.
The NCEM, Lollipop, Music and the Deaf and Youth Music worked in collaboration to present an afternoon of musical fun for anyone aged 0-18 with any degree of deafness from mild to profound. There were musical games, opportunities to try different instruments, make friends, and to have a go at composing!
Lollipop will be working with I Can Play! in 2022 to continue the music sessions each month from January to April – more information will be coming in the new year. Some photos of the event are below!
